  • do you have the rock Edition Flash JBL??

  • okay thanks! Buying one of these two i have to decide  X.X JBL UA Flash The Rock Edition or Jabra 75T

  • I tried the aftershocks air and the new model in a shop today. The sound at high volume is terrible. The headphones vibrate badly. Not good enough for the price.

No interruptions? Good Connection? Do they fit perfectly for running? How is the Sound while running (steps Hearing?) ?

Very very occasional dropouts but it only happens when walking through the security screens going into and out of shops when there is a definite click as it loses and remake the connection.

Very good connection. The sound is clear from both my iPhone and F6 when using it as a source of music / whatever. I'd say the volume can go much higher from the F6 than the phone if I so choose.

There is a good seal in the ears so when running I do hear the thump thump from my feet which strangely helps to keep me a good rhythm. The 75T does have a hear-through function which picks up ambient noise through the microphones so it does help if you want that sort of thing.

  • I just happen to develop audio brands for a living so I've had the opportunity to test a number of different TWS earbuds.  I've listed them below and tried to cover all 4 major characteristics.  Connectivity, fit, controls, and hear through functionality.  For context, I'm a 50mpw guy, I train indoor and out (mostly out) and I live in the midwest, so these get plenty of variety.  I wear my watch on my left hand and it's a 6X Pro (I've also test a lot of these w/ my last watch which was the 5x Plus)

Jabra Elite 75t - I don't have the Active version yet, but these win, almost hands down.  First, they are extremely light (relative to the competition), and they create a good seal, but, it's not a complete blockout like the 65t.  I have never had any connectivity issues, and the hear through functionality is above average.  Lastly, the controls are solid, and fairly easy to interact with, even at speed.

Jabra Elite Sport - If nothing else stays in your ears, these will.  They can be tight enough that you'll need to wear them fairly consistently to allow your ears to become accustomed to the pressure.  Connectivity on these are almost as good as the 75, but not quite, and their seal is average.  Controls are the downfall, especially if you're wearing them in cold weather.  You have to be able to feel the raised areas in order to know where the controls are.  The Sport controls use a lot of single touch, and touch/hold inputs.  Hear through on these isn't as good as the other Jabra models, but, solid enough

Jabra Elite Active 65t - These are similar to the 75t in every way, they are just bulkier, and IMO create too much of a seal.  Connectivity, controls, and hear through are all solid.

NCredible Flow - These are good on the entry level.  Super light, and decent connectivity.  You may see problems in really humid or rainy situations as it relates to connectivity.  Their fit is hit or miss, works great for me, but could be difficult for those with smaller ears.  Controls are a little stiff, but, function like other multi touch units.  These do not have hear through.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ - These are really close to the top for me, right there with the 75t.  They are light, and they fit pretty well.  Granted, I haven't changed the fit sleeves, so that may improve the fit a bit.  Controls on these are their major downfall.  There is an option to use the ridges of the buds for volume control (which is not on by default), but it doesn't work so well....and....that is the only way to control volume during your run.  Personally, I like to crank things up a bit when I'm about to hit a hard workout.  The hear through on these things is next level, blows every other unit out of the water.  Seal is solid and sound is solid as well.

JLab Epic Air - I'm not sure if JLab has released another version of these, but my experience with them was horrible.  I originally got these when I had my Fenix 3HR and the connectivity was horrible.  These were the first units that allowed you to select with earbud was the "master", and at the time, I was having connectivity issues with other earbuds, so, I decided to get something that would allow me to select the left ear bud as the master, given that I wore my watch on the left side, and most other sets of earbuds defaulted to the right.  Terrible.  Fit was good, as it's around the ear, and sound is good as well.  Just couldn't get past the connectivity.

JayBird Vista - I wore these once, and gave them to a co-worker, and he loves them.  He did have an issue with the first pair (one of the buds went out) so we had to reach out to the vendor for another pair.  He eventually added AirPods and the 65T's to his rotation, but, he still uses these.  I don't remember having any massive issues, with them.

I've tried a few others, but, they are pretty ubiquitous (Power Beats Pro and Airpods / Airpods Pro).  I'm sure you all have plenty of friends that have used those.  I'll edit this post if I can think of anything else I've used that would be relevant here.

  •  Thanks for the review of the Galaxy Buds+. I have the previous Galaxy Buds and I love them except that you can't control the volume unless you are connected to a phone.  I was going to look into the new plus model but not if they haven't figured out the volume control.  I can at least control the volume from the Garmin but it's not as convenient as doing it on the ear buds when you're running.  At least the tap controls work and I can immediately pause, which I don't understand.  I wonder why the tap controls work and not the volume.  Is the sound on the plus that much better than the previous version?  I don't want to get the new ones if there's not at least a really good change from what I have, which is already excellent quality.

  • Anker Soundcore Libery Lite , no volume control but otherwise great, have it for 1 year now.
