Backlight gesture not working

Hi, I have a fenix 6.

I've recently been through the working/not working stuff with the weather widget (its currently working).

Now I've noticed the backlight gesture isn't working, I've tried turning it on/off (watch and function) but now the only way I can get light is by pressing the button.

I am getting a little tired of the bugs.

Anyone else have this trouble?

Have you:
1. Checked the settings you have for when it's activated
2. Checked when do not disturbed is active
3. Checked that you have is set on the right wrist - )the right wrist could be the wrong wrist…

Have you:

Checked the settings you have for when it's activated
Checked when do not disturbed is active
Checked that you have is set on the right wrist - )the right wrist could be the wrong wrist if you wear it on the left wrist not the right wrist?

I was having a similar problem. It was user error for me. I only had gesture enabled "during activity". For my needs I wanted gesture enabled "not during activity". Specifically, I wanted gesture enabled "after sunset" at all times and that is why it must be enabled "not during activity"

Aha! This was the answer for me. I did not realize that there are separate setting for during activity and not during activity

I set it gesture is on during, both activity and non activity, but it is off and backlight Does not work with gesture, I bought the watch just yesterday (Fenix 6 Sapphire).

Same problem here.

No gesture backlight even it is checked in activity mode.

In non-activity mode backlight works flawlessly.

Problems occur since Software 11.10
