Frequency of Tactix Software Updates

I assume that the tactix and Fenix use different software given the slightly different software features of the tactix. Can anyone who has owned a tactix speak to Garmin’s timeliness with software updates? Does the tactix generally receive updates at the same time as the Fenix? If not, what kind of lag exists between the Fenix updates vs the tactix updates?

Also, can you run Fenix beta software on the tactix? If so, do you lose the unique software features of the tactix?

My only experience with parallel models is with my fenix 3 and tactix Bravo. Both ran the same software - both public release and Beta. There was no separate software released only for the fenix 3 or only…

My only experience with parallel models is with my fenix 3 and tactix Bravo. Both ran the same software - both public release and Beta. There was no separate software released only for the fenix 3 or only for the tactix Bravo - one software release for application to both models.

Based on that, I can logically assume that it will be the same case for the fenix 6x Pro and the tactix Delta.

Of course, I don't know all that Garmin know, and have no idea how they will handle the new tactix Delta, but my guess is it will be the same software releases - both public release and Beta - for both the tactix Delta and the fenix 6x Pro.
