Hi all, how can I find a list of the waypoints that I have on my Garmin Fenix 6XPro in order to select the one I want to go to?
Waypoints are part of a course. Do you mean POI's, which are independent from courses?
I don't know of any way to navigate to a specific waypoint that's in a course, the watch just automatically navigates you to the next waypoint on the course.
If you open the Navigate app, you can show lists of all kinds of differents things to navigate to. Among them are:
If you select any of those choices, it will display a list for you to pick from.
Thanks my friend, yes I mean the "Flags" symbol that I mark when I save the locations.... are those POI's?
How do I access the Navigate app? also can I access all those lists you mentioned from the watch itself too?
Thanks so much
From the watchface, press the top-right button to bring up your activities list. If you don't see "Navigate" in that list, scroll to the "+" and select it, and add the Navigate activity.
Then, after you open the Navigate activity, scroll down to Saved Locations, select it, and it'll show you your list of saved places - select one to navigate to it.
Oustide of the Navigate activity, the only other way to see your list of saved locations on the watch is to do it from within another activity. From any activity where maps/gps are used, press and hold the Up button, and select Navigate, then scroll down to Saved Locations, select it, and it'll show you your list of saved places - select one to navigate to it.
Thanks my friend. I have a few "flags" or POI's saved already and I can see them in the map. But when I go to the Navigate activity and scroll down to Saved Locations, select it, and then I get a message saying "No locations saved"
Any suggestions on what could be going wrong?
Thanks
Hopefully someone else with more knowledge can chime in - I haven't actually tried to save a POI to navigate to yet, but surely someone here has, and can help you, I hope
Thanks mate. Hopefully... if not, do you know if garmin do respond to this kind of technical questions? and where should I contact them to get an answer on this? Thanks!
