Hello dear Garmin Forum.
I'd like to know which of you is currently thinking and has to choose between the Suunto 7 and Fenix 6 Pro?
I am really unsure.
I would be happy if a few users would post their pro & contra ideas.
Bye
Bernd

The Suunto 7 is comparable to Samsung Galaxy, Huawei GT and Apple Watch. You simply cannot compare an android smartwatch to a pro training tool as Fenix. The Fenix is comparable to Suunto 9. Not 7.
You're trying to compare Apples to Oranges. The F6 series is above and beyond pretty much every manufacturer right now with all the features that it comes with.
The Suunto 7 is incapable of pairing ANY external sensors - no Heart Rate Monitors, no temperature sensors, no STRYD-type devices, no fitness equipment like bikes/tradmills, no cadence sensors, no speed…

Already done and dusted. forums.garmin.com/.../the-new-suunto-7---amoled-and-wearos
Think I'd get one of these - Invincible Tactical Military Smartwatch before I'd consider that Suunto 7
Yep. The Suunto 7 is being compared to the wrong watch.
It's like comparing a Ford F150 to a SmartCar. Totally different things for totally different people and purposes.

Indeed. It didn't even need one thread, let alone two.
The Suunto 7 would more appropriately be compared to the Garmin Venu (or Apple Watch, or a few others). I guess the real difference is the zippy amoled screen on the Suunto, vs Battery Life and a nearly unlimited set of training functions on the Fenix 6 pro. the list would be too long to give all the difference. perhaps if you described what you're looking for in a watch, what functions are important to you- and perhaps what watch your currently own and use- if you have one.
as everyone else has stated- they are two different beasts.

I looked at this watch and the product description makes it sound quite remarkable. Then I Googled user reviews. Wow! The two most commonly used words to describe the watch is "scam" and "sh*t".
Thank you all for your opinions. I had the 245 and 645 and didn't like the case that much. With the Fenix it is more valuable, just partly made of metal. I don't do triathlons or marathons.
Mainly running. I would just like to have the card function, music function and the possibility to pay with it. There are not many models left!
My comment was most definitely 'tongue in cheek' :-)
The big advantage IMHO of WearOS and AW over Fenix is that in the UK WearOS and AW can have OS 1:25k mapping via the Viewranger app. Garmin need to find their own solution to put 1:25k OS maps on Fenix
