Fenix 6X Sapphire turns off as I cycle through the widget loop

I have a new Fenix 6X Sapphire. Xmas present a week ago. I had to return it to the shop as it turned off as I was cycling through the widget loop using the 'BACK' button from Watch Face.

The shop replaced it after they tried to update it and reboot - but to no avail. I now have the replacement. To be clear I have edited the loop so it has about 30 widgets on it and it worked fine all day today as I cycled through until it decided to start turning off before I got to the last widget and Add at the bottom. Just like the previous one.

No idea why. I have downloaded some 3rd party apps and it seemed to happen after that but I can't see why it would.

I am very impressed with its functionality so far but this is disappointing and getting v frustrating.

Any ideas?

The fact that this has been happening to you on two watches in a row, and that in only happens after you've installed 3rd-party ConnectIQ software, tells me you're probably trying to use a 3rd-party widget or watchface that's not stable on your Fenix 6.

Use trial-and-error to figure out which one is causing the problem, and remove it... and don't get frustrated at the watch, it's not the watch's fault when a 3rd-party makes glitchy software for it.

It was the weather radar app. Thanks for advice.

Make sure to use "contact developer" for the app in the store so the developer is aware of the problem and it can be fixed.
