Fenix 6 pro keeps turning off

my Fenix 6 has been behaving strangely. Without me doing anything it was opening up the menu and saying I needed to go to Garmin connect mobile to setup assistance. Then it would just turn off. I could then turn it back on but now it won’t even allow me to do that. Any ideas?

The "setup assistance in garmin connect" thing sounds like it's trying to use the accident detection feature for some reason. Sounds like the firmware might be messed up somehow. Try to do a hard reset (hold the Light button for 10 seconds) and see if that helps. If nothing works and the watch won't turn on, exchange with retailer if possible, or contact Garmin so they can sort it out for you.

Or you can try to factory reset the watch.

Thanks both for your hints. No joy unfortunately - looks like an exchange will be required.
