Hi . I buyed fenix 6x pro solar and cant pairing with my cellphone IPHONE X iOS 13.3.1 . I tried all the steps in the Garmin site but is impossible ! The fenix 6x is 5.00 version . Please help me !

  • Take a look in the iOS bt setting: if a Fenix 6 is already listet, delete it. Have you installed the garmin mobile app on the phone and paired it with your F6?

I tried all the mentioned steps, but I still can't my F6. In the garmin connect application it only indicates finding for the device. I tried in android device and ipad and I had no problem, just with the iphone X. SOS

  • Slight modification to the process that can make all the difference:

    • Remove the watch from Garmin Connect Mobile
    • Go to Settings, Bluetooth, and Forget the watch
    • Hard reboot the iPhone - Press up volume, release, Press down volume, release, hold Power button until the Apple logo appears, then release and allow restart.
    • uninstall the Garmin Connect mobile app
    • connect your device to a desktop computer and run Garmin Express to install any updates (you can ignore the map updates as they take hours and aren't critical)
    • make sure the watch is charged up and then disconnect it from the computer
    • Hard reset the watch - press and hold top left, keep pressed through the Alert screen until it turns off
    • Restart your watch
    • reboot your phone & reinstall Garmin Connect mobile
    • in Garmin Connect mobile, select "add device" and follow the on screen steps

If this fails you might need to consider a Factory Reset from the Settings menu, or a reset by:

    • Shutting down your watch.
    • Press top left to begin the start up process.
    • As soon as you see the Blue Triangle press and old top right and bottom right buttons together.
    • Release top right on the first beep, release bottom right on second beep.

Both of these methods will clear all your user settings and data.

I still can't ... there must be a problem with the iphone x because in other devices there is no problem. My F6 bought it in  USA the last week but I live in Japan, does that have anything to do with that?

  • There could be a problem with your watch. I am struggling to get my F6 Sapphire to re-pair to my iPhone X iOS 13.3 but have no problems getting a 945 or F5+ to pair. I'm hopeful that Garmin will get on to it tomorrow when they're back at work.

What ANT+/BLE/BT hub do you have?

The fact that you bought it in the US but are in Japan should not be an issue...but who knows? The fact that I am in NZ with a US device does suggest there might be a possibility.

If you have not already done so, log the problem with Garmin Support directly.

Hello ! I already registered this problem with garmin support. I paid 1000 usd for this watch and I still can't use it normally. I hope Garmin gives us a quick solution

  • You and I both. However, the issue does not stop me swimming, cycling and running with it. It's inconvenient. It will get sorted. And it won't be too long before it is sorted.

The latest production version of iOS I’m being offered on both of my iPhones is iOS 13.3. Are you on iOS beta by any chance? It wouldn’t be the first time that iOS beta has messed up the connection between Garmin watches and iPhone/GCM. If you have got another iPhone/iPad with iOS/iPadOS on normal non beta version, it may be worth retrying the connection to you Fenix 6X PS with one of them to rule in/out an iOS beta thing.
