I bought mine yesterday and it came with software version 2.3 GPS 2.3 WiFi 2.6 ciq 3.0.11 bmx 0.4.8 whr 20.04.13 Ant/ble/bt 3.6 sensor hub 2.0. After updating it via garmin express it is now updated to software version 4.3 GPS 2.6 WiFi 2.6 ciq 3.1.4 bmx 0.5.1 whr 20.04. 40 ant/ble/bt 4.3, sensor hub 2.6.
My current issue is still pulse ox not working properly, it worked in version 2.3 when I enabled pulse ox under during sleep and auto. But after updating it to version 4.3, I keep getting the measuring, keep still loop and only had one reading in the past 8 hours.
Thanks for the reply. The Asian models don’t have pulseox activated so the question is has anybody installed a non Asian release firmware to activate the function?
No issue mine is asia model and works fine. Maybe some setting your missing. Turn it on through watch, keep in mind from my observations it uses your profile sleep time you inputted manually to begin pulsox. It's cool to see but doesn't really give much info and drains battery 50%faster. That said I use it
Interesting. It must just be the Japanese release. Garmin support did advise it’s not in the japan release as it would be classed as a medical device and legally nit allowed without some additional certifications I guess. So no pulseox for japan model only maybe.
