Here is a link to a Fenix 5x app. You can contact the developer and ask if he adds the F6 series.

I think 1768739 is referring to the MARQ Aviator. Allalin72's suggestion of finding a CIQ app developer who understands exactly what's needed for paragliding, is probably the optimal solution. In the mean time, you could just 'Add' a new activity app (select 'Other' type of app) and name it 'Paragliding', then configure it with the respective elevation and other data fields in the data screens you think you might want to see; there are a huge number of data fields to choose from and that might just meet your needs fully. It would also be worth searching on the Garmin website and their youtube channel for info on the Jumpmaster app (which the Fenix 6 has), as that might have some transferable features.
The limitation of copying an existing activity and renaming is it retains features of the original activity - such as:
Some sport/activity profiles are transferable between watch models of similar types.
For an example, see this thread: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-45-series/206635/how-do-i-create-an-indoor-track-running-not-treadmill-activity-option-on-my-fr45/988695#988695
I exported the "RunningIndoor TrackIndoor_Track.fit" sport profile from a Forerunner 945 and a Forerunner 45 owner was able to install it, giving them a new treadmill walking activity, natively.
If you can find a Garmin user with a MARQ Aviator or maybe a D2 Delta, you could ask them to upload relevant .fit files to see if they work on a Fenix 6.
Come to think of it, I'll cruise over to the MARQ and D2 forums and ask someone to ZIP up their Sports folders - let's see what we can transfer.
In the meantime, there's a compatible third-party app you could try: https://apps.garmin.com/en-CA/apps/f9f7930b-8b9c-407e-b6da-29ad9a944fc0
Thanks
Hi, I developed apps for hike&fly and as backup device for paragliding. But Garmin sent following email and killed my apps in appstore:
"we have determined that paragliding (and other similar activities like hang gliding, paraplanes, etc.) are classified as extreme sports, even though they are also forms of aviation. This places your app into a category of app that is excluded from app approval based on our guidelines"
Paragliding and extreme sport ... hehehehe ... there is someone who loves exhibitions of ones ignorance.
So I discontinued all my apps (were about 15).

They already offer a "Jumpmaster" activity, and even "wingsuit flying" is an activity type in Garmin Connect. I'd call those "more extreme" than taking off with a chute already inflated.
I hope you'll petition Garmin to reconsider - having paragliding, powered paragliding and hang-gliding options were awesome.
Would you mind posting the [sport].FIT files here so we can try manually installing them? (they can be zipped and attached via drag-and-drop)
Andy, are you The Flying Scotsman ?

Edit: I think not as Stufly is still on line... ;-)
