Fenix Pro 6x Sapphire - Not sync with Garmin Express / Stop responding to commands / screen blocked

Hi

I would like to report some issue with my new Fenix Pro 6. It is not sync with Garmin express where you can do the updates, screen often get blocked and stop responding to commands. I believe have some issues where is in area without chance to connect to WIFI or GPS signal. Because now I'm on the sea so maybe this is the reason. I will se when I will be back home. Anyway 1000 Euro watch need too offer more than that!!!

  • At the risk of stating  the obvious...

    The screen will not work when connected to Garmin Express.

    Express also needs internet access to up date the fenix.

    Hello, if you want I can do a video to see how the watch screen freeze and not responding to any of the commands. I install the Express on work computer. I have to watches. The other watch Vivo HR is working fine and connected to express, updating or install. When I plug the fenix first symptom is that the screen not change in charge mode as should be when you connect to computer. When I try to restart showing that is updating by himself the maps but nothing happen for hours, I press the menu and comeback to normal but when try to select an widget as music or others the screen freeze instantly and nothing I can do more then to restart again....and again same story. I thought this watch works in almost al environments how is also in publicity in mountains with extreme wheatear conditions. Here I'm on the ship without WIFI ( only cable connections internet and without signal for my phone, but this should not affect the watch and to work properly... Sorry but I'm very disappointed, I was very please to buy this watch believing is one of the best and that's why I pay 1000 Euro for this... I will try to return this when I will be back home

  • I to travel out to sea so I know what you are going though. If you cannot establish a data connection the watch will not be able to sync. It will connect to the computer but that is about it.

    When you connect the watch to a computer the screen will show the charge percentage along with the current time. When the watch is in this state, you cannot interact with it.

    There is nothing wrong with your watch.

    That's the problem RobCuadro, My watch is not connecting to computer and express installed to my computer is not finding the watch as well! and also is not normal to stop responding to buttons commands.

  • Hard reset - press and hold top left until it shuts down. Restart. Any difference?

    If not - factory reset and start from new.

    BTW, there will still be a GPS signal.
