How to delete old maps?

So, that’s the question: i have bought my Fenix in the states, but I don’t live there. After installed local maps, I want to delete the USA ones in order to have more space. Any ideas?

When connecting your watch to a computer, open the Garmin folder. There you find "Disc Image Files". These are your different maps. DO NOT delete any of them unless you are 100% sure you know what map you're deleting. I highly recommend removing the file and saving it on your computer. This way if it was the wrong map, or if you have any problems, you can put it back in the Garmin folder.

Thanks, but is there a relationship between the file names and the map location?

I use basecamp to identify which xxx.img file belongs to which maps. Takes a while to load but after you know what is what and you can safely remove the maps you don't need. And as mentioned save them to your computer to be safe. if there is one I would like to know it to but seems not to be the case.
