Hello here. I just bought a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro and I can't figure out how to properly setup course navigation. I want to create a similar setup as I had on my old Garmin Edge 800.
While doing a course riding a bike or running I want to look at data fields. But when I am near a corner I want to be notified and see where I need to go. So far I can only manage to get a notification in the form of an arrow. What I would like is switch to the map view automatically when I am near a corner to get a better view of the situation.
Also; the arrow notification for a turn comes a bit late when riding a bike. I prefer to have it earlier so I can focus on the road when I am near the corner (and maintain speed).
And last; for some reason I get a repeat arrow notification during the turn. This is not really helpful and more distracting actually.
Is there a way to configure this? Or am I looking for a setting that doesn't exist?
