Garmin and Fenix 6

Hi,

Garmin produce great products, and the Fenix 6 is just one of those. It is a superb piece of technology and is still fairy new, they constantly work hard to keep the firmware updated and to fix bugs, which I for one really appreciate.

I love chatting in here and reading fellow sports and runners posts and have made a good few new friends in here.

That being said, I think I'm going to leave this forum. I find it extremely sad and disappointing that, as fellow sports and runners, we can't all get along and take on board others thoughts, experiences and opinions, be them good or bad, without the constant arguing, angry and aggressive posts. It's such a shame. Especially when there are so many great people, posts and valuable information within this forum.

Me? I'll continue to use and love my Garmin devices and if I have any issues I will be back for help.

Thanks you all.

  • Totally agree. It is a bit funny that the discussions about usage, tips & tricks, beginner questions and questions about how to improve training and fitness using the device has moved to other forums or social platforms such as reddit, facebook and others.

I will continue to participate but I will definitely think twice before I reply or post to make sure I don't feed the fires. Hopefully storms will settle and we can start having a forum with respect and an enjoyable atmosphere.

  • Don't go.  We need continued reports of positive experiences and legitimate issues with features.  Key is to contact GARMIN with issues when necessary.

  • I'm agree as well...Actually I use this forum in order to understand more the product, and if I can help anyone with my poor knowledge I always try to do so. Here in these forums I have learn how to configure some activities, what information does some additional activity fields give, etc. I really enjoy reading at all of you guys, all your experiences and really annoys me when I find fights about if the screen is blue or white or sort of things.

Let's try to keep this forum clean and try to help each other instead of arguing about what's wrong for someone who someone else find it useful.

Enjoy your Winter sports if in the North Hemisphere or Summer sports if in the South...and Happy Holidays you all!!!

    Leo
