Bluetooth Connection with more than one device?

Folks hi, I have a Fenix 6s pro/saphire and I have the following problem:

I run the Garmin Connect app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+) and have connected the fenix to the phone via bluetooth. No problems here.

I also run the Garmin Connect app from my Samsung tablet (tab A) - only because the screen is bigger and I was explore the screens more easily.  But I have not connected the watch to the tablet.

When I switch on bluetooth on the tablet, for purposes other than connecting the watch, I constantly get on the screen of the Fenix 6s the unique code I need to enter to connect the fenix to the Garmin COnnect app on the tablet.

A couple of questions:

1. is it possible to connect the Fenix to more than one mobile device at the same time (same garmin connect account on two different devices?).  In other words connect the watch through bluetooth to both the phone and the tablet?

2. if the above is not possible, how can I stop the garmin connect app on the tablet from trying to connect to the watch when the bluetooth is active on the tablet?

In the past I had a Fenix 5S and a Fenix 5s Plus, and with the same mobile device configuration (garmin connect running on two devices, bluetooth ON on two devices, but the watch connected only with the phone), I never encountered the problem of the fenix trying to connect to a 2nd mobile device through bluetooth.

thank you in advance.
