Interesting iPhone 8 vs X connection information. Hope this is helpful

I've had an iPhone X for about 6 months.   I also have dealt with the whole problem of having to turn off then back on Bluetooth in order for the watch to connect/sync.  Well, my daughter needed a new phone, so I passed mine on to her and grabbed my trusty iPhone 8 out of the closet and set it up.  this was Saturday.

Guess what.  Not one time have I had to do anything for the watch to connect back to the phone.  It's been rock solid.  So there is definitely some trickery going on with how Apple is handling Bluetooth on the newest phones.  Maybe to conserve battery?  I just don't know.

BUT, my AW's and other Bluetooth devices connect and reconnect to the iPhone X just fine.  Weird huh?

So:

Fenix 6x Pro Sapphire, Firmware 5.0.

iPhone X:  Constantly having connection problems to where the watch won't reconnect after and activity away from the phone, or just being away from the phone for a while and then coming back in range.  Always had to restart Bluetooth on the phone to get the Fenix to reconnect.

iPhone 8:  Haven't had to restart Bluetooth even one time in going on 3 days.  Even after several runs and workouts away from the phone.  It reconnects quickly and without issue.

PS:  I missed my button.  I've never liked the home button going away or the whole face ID thing.  Give me the button or give me death  :)
