In mountaineering, Mountain Biking and Backcountry Skiing the vertical Speed (Ascending Speed) is one of the most important measurement.
Unfortunately Fenix 6 is quite week on mountaineering. Most important, the precision of the vertical speed is very imprecise as it is rounded to the next 50m/h (e.g. 300m/h, 350m/h, 400m/h). This precision is to low for a serious training or power control.
It makes no sense to only show vertical speed in 50's steps. The only reason I could imagine is that the z-Axis of GPS is less accurate. But as the vertical speed is a delta value, the vertical speed should be measured/calculated anyway only by the difference from the altitude sensor.
Any ideas how to solve this problem and see vertical speed more accurate?
Any ideas why Garmin does not show the unrounded value?
