"silent" mode?

Agreed, that would be nice! I can think of  many times where I'd want to just hold a button and have the watch go into Do Not Disturb without having to look at the watch.

Hi, Is your watch upgraded to V5? If yes, Can you please try one thing. May be Disable the Do not Disturb mode and go to System>Sounds>Vibration and turn off the vibration and Tone as  well. And then may be try to see if you still get vibration on alerts (although, It shouldn't as you had just turned it off). I am facing this issue with my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire and Titanium Edition watch and I am not able to disable it. I would really appreciate it, if you can please check so that I can return my watch if it is faulty.

It's a bug, nothing wrong with your watch.   Or at least on my V5 6X i have the same behaviour.  Tone and Vibration turned off, get a text, get vibration.   The tone setting works, I don't get tones, but the vibration setting is not being used.

I see, I thought only Fenix 6 series had this issue. These are really expensive watches, and they should put a better quality control before release a live production software release.

Sorry, that was a typo, 6x.  I just updated to the current beta, 5.72 and the behaviour is the same, with tone and vibration off it still vibrates on notifications. 

I've always had vibration on since FW 2.x so I'm not sure when or if this stopped working or ever worked. 

Thanks for the update. Let's see if Garmin takes any action on this.
