How to prevent watch from connecting to the wrong devices?

I have multiple devices, all with BT active for different reasons, all with Garmin Connect installed so I can check my stats there too.

Problem is, the watch now also gets connected with them, even though I never did the pairing on all the others.

What can I do so that the watch to just connects to my one phone. Disabling BT or uninstalling GC on the other devices is not a valid solution or answer to this question.

    I also only paired it with one device..

    Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue. I want my watch to talk to my phone, but my tab insists on trying to get involved, which prevents data from syncing with my phone. I always carry my phone, so want that as the only device which syncs with my watch

    I have the same problem.  Have a watch paired with my phone for Smart notifications, but have the Garmin Connect app on my tablet so I can comfortably browse my tracking data on a big screen.  I don't want the watch connected to the tablet, because the watch jumps between the tablet and my phone, but when the watch is not paired with the tablet, the tablet keeps trying to connect to the watch and the watch generates a pairing code.  So annoying.

    Oh yes I found a solution, sorry for not posting it:

    It turned out the watch wasn't fully paired with my main phone. Yes it was in Garmin Connect so every device with Garmin Connect installed eventually was able to get a not so reliable (not really staying connected if the devices is on standby) connection with the watch.

    Some update must have deleted the watch from the phones "paired devices list", so I did that again (the part where the watch displays a number I have to enter on my device) and now it really prefers the device its actually paired, on a system level with, and works reliable.

    My watch is out of the paired devices list and randomly connecting to devices again. :(


    This time if I hit "pair with phone" on the watch it doesn't show up on the phones devices list, how can I reestablish the link?
