Fenix 6X Pro unable to aquire satellite

Recently the display of my 6X Pro showed a short notification of the GPS file beining updated. The first activity I did after that the GPS track looked bad. I did experience this after I just got the 6X and a brief connection the PC/Garmin Connect seemed to cure this by updating the satellite file. I thought I head to repeat that step because of the GPS firmware had updated. But after connection to the PC/Garmin connect there is no satellite lock at all.

Anyone experienced anything similar? Already completed a reset of the watch but I cannot get it to work. Any ideas?

I had some issues getting a satellite lock after my watch "freaked out" (for lack of a better term) during an activity last week. It had entered a bad state of some sort, and nothing was really working right until I rebooted the watch, started a new activity (without any gps lock), ended the activity, then discarded it, and rebooted the watch again. That sequence of actions seemed to force the watch back into a normal state, and all was good after that. Worth a try.

Check the status of the CPE file.

Connect to GE and sync.

Leave it outside for an extended period with a GPS activity selected, but not started.

You can also remove the cpe.bin file from the RemoteSW folder and either sync it with GC or do what Philip recommended.
