What maps are loaded on the watch

Within the setup of activity I only see the below choices for "Configuring Maps"

1. Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR

2. TopoActive Americas, North 2019.20

3. Garmin Ski Map 2.0

4. TopoActive Americas, Central 2019.20

However, in Garmin Express, I see

1. MAP: Coverage of North and South America 6.0

2. MAP: TopoAcitve Americas North 2019.20

3. Map: Coverage of Pacific 5.10

4. Map: Coverage of Europe, Middle East & Africa 5.60

5. Map: Garmin Ski Map 2.0

So why is it the number 1, 3 and 4 from Garmin Express do not show up on my device when I try to configure maps?

He means that the maps titled "coverage of pacific, coverage or europe, middle east, and africa, etc." are only maps of golf courses - they are not complete maps of the entire areas. Just golf courses…

Not sure I understand what you mean. Which maps are for golf. I don't have golf as an activity but wonder why I cant see the "coverage of North and South America 6.0 on my watch? Is it part of the world wide map, or the topo maps?

thats a good question.. I am wondering that as well. When I bought the watch and connected it to Garmin express i iost around 8-10 GB of space on watch due to these additional maps that got uploaded on my watch... but as you have pointed out I don't see them on watch. eventually after wasting time and effort I ended up loading openmaps for my area on my watch and fortunately these showed up in my watch map selection screen.

You can purchase full maps for those regions from Garmin, or you can download 3rd party maps to load onto your watch.

We have worldwide ski maps and golf course maps on our watches, but our watches only have the full topo/street map for the region the watch was sold in.
