How to edit workouts data fields?

When I do a pre-saved swim workout on my Fenix 6 I get two more screen after the normal swim pool screens.
These two new screens seems not editable or I can't find how to edit them.

Has anyone noticed my own thing?

Garmin, I really miss this, when on a workout, can't edit the screen, but I am training on time and heart rate zone, have to flip between rounds which is incredible annoying.

Garmin should add possibility to modify data fields in Connect app. Why it is still not possible? It will be faster and simple. It's a shame.

Hello Laik, with these steps you can edit the "normal" data screens, not the two more screens that appears when you run a workout.
The new screens are not listed in the "activity setting > data…

Customizing the Data Screens

You can show, hide, and change the layout and content of data screens for each activity.

Hold MENU.
Select Activities & Apps.
Select the activity to customize.
Select the activity settings.
Select Data Screens.
Select a data screen to customize.
Select an option:
- Select Layout to adjust the number of data fields on the data screen.
- Select a field to change the data that appears in the field.
- Select Reorder to change the location of the data screen in the loop.
- Select Remove to remove the data screen from the loop.
If necessary, select Add New to add a data screen to the loop.
You can add a custom data screen, or select one of the predefined data screens.

Those screens cannot be edited, they are specific to when doing a preset workout and all activities have some form of them when doing a preset workout. I actually find them very useful since they show how much distance is left in a step or how much time is left in a rest. If you don't want to use them though your regular data screens are still available.

I miss it, too. They'll bring it back whenever they fix whatever the issue is with in-activity datafield editing. Sometimes, especially when doing a new activity I haven't done before, I realize that I'm missing a critical piece of information, but I can't add it to my screen unless I stop the activity and start it over again. I really liked being able to do it on the fly.

Is there anyway this can be changed? Ive just started to use garmin coach prefer my data screens which are larger and easier to read!

You can influence what fields are displayed by selecting pace versus HR targets, time versus distance durations, etc.
