On F6 Battery full
21 days without BT 0,20% /h
14 days with BT 0,30% /h
-> 30% more consumption with BT.
Ha, it's a good question. Excluding battery drain during activities, my watch has regularly shown depletion rate around 0.5%/hr. I think the days projection is a steady state estimate, meaning at that…
i think wifi is off all the while besides anything to upload right?
Around 0.3/h from my experience (vs 0.16 w/o)

Hey guys. I'm also interested in this. Can you clarify some other settings? For instance, what are your backlight settings (brightness, timeout, gesture), smart notifications on, pulse-ox and wifi off?
I have bluetooth connection to my phone with notifications on, 50% backlight with gesture and 8 sec timeout, pulse-ox and wifi off. My F6 Sapphire burns about 0.5%/hr or ~11-12%/day. Not sure if I've got an issue or just too many emails buzzing my watch everyday. Thanks for any input.
My settings are with pulse-ox off.
For the rest, as asked, it is only the difference in "projection" between "BT ON" and "BT OFF" when the battery is full at 100%. So all the other settings (backlight duration...) are not in that calculation IMHO.

So, everything else is off then? There are other variables that affect battery consumption while connected via bluetooth. So it's hard to compare to your 0.30%/hr without understanding what other settings you have enabled.
30% more using blue tooth is a lot. Maybe garmin could optimize it a little bit to drop battery consumption? I would like an option to turn off bluetooth automatically at bed time only. To not sync in the background all the time activities. Optimize bluetooth to use the smart functions/notifications and drop power usage.
It is the projection in days when the battery is full. It is provided by Garmin
It is not the use ! It is a projection ! :-)
This projection doesn't mind about my use but some setting are immediatly giving me a difference in the reading. Other setting are all on.
If I trigger the Ox the result is around 6 days.
Without Ox and BT it is around 21 days.
My backlight settings or the frequencies of my messages reception are usage, not projection.
There is certainly a difference if the phone is near or far from the watch.
The watch needs perhaps more power/attemps to reach it if it is in another room.
Anyway, I'm now only turn BT when I really need it.
You can (manually) set the device to airplane mode (no BT/ANT/Wifi connection) via the control menu (as far as I know).
