Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire keeps stuck on Garmin logo

Hi everyone,

After a week that I get my new Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire Titanium, problems started.

It was keeping freezing on the blue Garmin logo with no reason and while not doing specific action.

I have upgraded from firmware version 4.10 to 4.30, the situation is slightly better but the problem still persist.

I have already tried to reinstall the firmware, don't touching settings and not installing any additional apps.

Still the same: you raise your hand to see the time, and you see the blue Garmin logo.

Then you have to reset it holding the light button, wait the device to reboot, sync with the smartphone to set the time again, and that it's the moment where you miss most your old and cheap Casio.

Any clue on what is going on and what to do?

I have already sent back this unit to Garmin, and I got back the same one with the same problem

Perhaps you have somewhere a currupt file on the watch? Perhaps in the new files folder?

A factory reset plus firmware reinstallation should erase all the data.

How can it be that I still have corrupted files?

Also when I sent it to Garmin, for sure the have erased everything.

Maybe I have corrupted files, but they are generated by the system itself and not stuck in the device from previous installation

Have you uploaded some waypoints, courses...? Sometimes, if a file is currupt, it isn´t deleted after a factory reset. It is just a possibility...

Did you get this resolved? I'm having a similar issue where my watch locks up, but not on the Garmin logo just at random times - I think related to syncing.

Yes, I resolved getting a new watch from Garmin.

After that, zero problem and I'm happy with it

Thanks for the reply. Did you send the watch back twice and it was fixed the second time? In your post, you say you received the same watch back with the same problem. I'm returning mine tomorrow so I'm hoping it also resolves my issue.

I paid 600$ and that does not include the taxes that I pay in Canada, well for a watch at the price we can not say that the price is right because the quality of the services suck. And Garmin seems not to care much by not giving decent answers
