How to go back one step in a workout?

Hi,

I was trying workouts generated by Garmin coach ... and by accident I have pressed the lap button right before a long run ... so I skipped that part of the workout that was in the middle of the whole workout (so I also did not want to start over). How do I go back?

Best,

M

  • To my knowledge, you can't.  I have done this also and I ended up disabling the lap button when I do Garmin Coach workouts because of this.  If there is a way to re-do the workout I'd like to know also.

  • Yes ... disabling the button would be a way .. but some steps require you top press the button to move to the next step. Weird that the developers never thought about this problem ....

  • You could set up a Hot Key for the lap button.  That would work for when you have to lap to continue.  You could set it up for the lap button and you would have to long press it.

  • There is no way to go back on the watch unfortunately. A solution would be to enable auto lock during activity (Menu>System>Auto Lock>During Activity). If this is enabled then pressing the lap button won't do anything but long pressing it will unlock the buttons and let you press the lap button, they will then automatically re-lock.

  • Garmin please add feature allowing user to go back to previous set during workout. It is very easy to click the button that moves you onto next set!
