6X (took it on launch date) is definitely an upgrade for me over FR935.
In the same time - my biggest disappointment is with software things that worked on 935 - still dont work on ny 6X.
If I knew this…
I work as a senior consultant within the IT business and one of roles in projects is as a business analyst. If someone would ask me what you asked in this thread I would reply that regardless of what you…
Why do you say that?
if the majority of users vote:

If I knew this - I would probably delay my buy for a couple of months and keep my 935 until this was sorted.
That said - my vote here would be combo of 2 and 3 option - stay with previous line (that you have) until issues fixed.
But if you need new device NOW - anything below 6 line cannot compare with it.
I think this is very individual and depends on the requirements or use cases you have.
If the one and only requirement you have is that the watch should fulfill everything that is in the spec. and the expectations for whats expressed in the commercials I would recommend to wait or even recommend something completely else.
For myself I come from a F3 that has been my everyday friend since early 2015 and the things that made me switch to F6 was:
For all that my F6X Sapphire has met my expectations from day 1. The only problem I had was with stepped elevation which is solved and problem with Garmin Pay due to GCM.
One thing I find a bit disappointing is the detail level of the maps (Europe/Sweden) but still I would recommend the watch. In the end it is all about your requirements where you need to weight your requirements in a way that you can translate that into money and the price you pay for them.
Then you should vote 2, because voting to 2 means that you will wait and upgrade later on. If deciding to keep a previous model permantly waiting for a Fenix 6 Plus when it comes or a Fenix 7. Then your vote is on 3
George, how about your Fenix 6X?
The retailer called me half an hour ago. They told me that they will get a new batch of watches next week and he thinks that if I wait I will be pleased by the watch. He told me that he doesn't want to give me another watch from this batch.
They will have the watches next Wednesday and on their stores on Thursday. If I am not pleased with it then I will get a full refund. I don't know if he has any information about the new batch of watches (I mean if improvements are made in the batch). Let's wait and see.
The guys at eGalaxy store in Greece are doing an excellent job servicing their customers. Hope the hardware problems are resolved in the new batches and you get a watch that worths the Garmin name.
Yes if there are any Greek users in the forums...My experience with them is perfect. They totally stand by the customer...Congrats to the way they handle situations like this.
I'm also waiting for what happens.
I would like to buy a Fenix 6X Sapphire but not with a blue / pink display.
The purpose of this poll is for every participant to vote based to his/her subjective point of you. Of course in this poll everyone will participate...The ones who stand strong with the brand, the disappointed customers for personal reasons and the more balanced ones. The result is nonetheless interesting

If someone would ask me what you asked in this thread I would reply that regardless of what you will be disappointed. We must make sure that the requirements and the needs are well defined and that we can measure them somehow. Without that my recommendation (or our evaluation of whatever we are looking for) will be useless.
Sorry, but I don't agree with you that the results is interesting unless we have a context for the person we are giving the recommendation for. Without that it is not a recommendation to someone, it is as you say our personal opinion based on anything between anger, disappointment or any other personal reason.
