Fenix 6 and MarQ to get Swim 2 features. Just some interesting tidbits

Was reading some comments from DCRainmaker and we will be getting the features of the Swim 2, which are quite good. Let's just hope that by adding features, they don't bork existing! As we saw happen with 4.10.

As a lap swimmer, there is some cool stuff. When Garmin EVENTUALLY gets things straightened out I think we will have a pretty solid watch!

I saw that and I'm looking forward to getting CSS. Auto rest will be useful if I forget to hit the button but since I mostly do pre-programmed swim workouts I doubt I'll use it as much as some others…

And it's not specific to the watch but the review also mentions that Connect now supports multi step repeats in swim workouts (already available and works fine on the Fenix 6). This is great since now swim repeats can be more then just a work step and a rest step (technically it was already possible by modifying JSON parameters but this is not for everyone and it's nice to see it now officially supported).

Have created workouts with embedded repeats and it works great. The create/edit is very fiddly to move a repeat inside a repeat using the web interface. The drag and drop just keeps jumping above and below and extremely difficult to align. There must be a better way to do this.
