I ordered the 6X Pro Solar in titanium in September. Amazon said Oct. 21 to Dec. 3. Not I got an email saying they cancelled my order as the watch is no longer available? Anyone know what's goin on? Has Garmin pulled the watch for major issues?

Sorry. Forget sometimes we are in different parts of the world. But for me US page shows 51 reviews, a few are the solar version. I looked at it last week before I ordered the F6 Titanium. I am in New…
Unbelievable things happen.
It normally means that the seller (amazon is full of 3rd party sellers) is no longer selling it.
No problem at all. I appreciate your replies and trying to help as I'm sure others do! By the way it now looks like 6X Titanium is pushed further back until December!
I called REI This morning. Their product team said that Garmin will be shipping the end of November and that they will open orders 30days in advance so late next week. I have been on Garmin and REI forever looking at dates for this watch. It originally said on Garmin 5-8 Weeks then early last week it went down to 3-5 weeks then this week it went back up to 5-8 weeks. I was thinking the same thing for issues that I am seeing here on the site. I have been dying without a Garmin atm but looks like it will be ok as maybe there are some things they can fix by then.
That's great information thank you! I'm sure the forum members appreciate your persistence and help with gettting the latest news fro REI. Many of us are members and will follow up with them as you suggest. Please keep us updated if you learn more!!!
Just talked to my lokal vendor in Norway:
He said that they didn´t have the 6X Titanium Pro Solar in stock. They have asked Garmin whenever the watch will be available without getting any answers.
Seems like Garmin have had some issues with this watch and pulled it temporary.
Thanks for that information. It does appear there is some issue beyond just short supply. Well hopefully they'll fix it soon.
It honestly seems like high demand and poor manufacturing planning thats it and nothing more. The Titanium is the most expensive version and is very hard to get due to the limited supply of it. However, you can get the non-Titanium Solar here in the US from vendors like BestBuy and other major retailers. The same watch just not with Titanium, so there should be no reason they pulled it. Just poor planning.

Both versions of the 6X Solar are Titanium and so both are lighter than the normal 6X (there is no steel option for the Solar). From what I can see around these forums, many (worldwide) have struggled for a while now to find either of the DLC coated titanium version or the bare titanium with titanium band version for sale. The Best Buy link, provided by gaijin in an earlier post, is the DLC Coated Titanium version; so it seems you can buy a titanium one in the US at least.

Well something is going on. Garmin keeps moving the availability date back. I had an order through Amazon that said I would get it by Dec. 3. Now that's been cancelled. I placed an order with REi who said I'd have it by Oct. 1, then that was moved to Oct. 23. Then they cancelled my order completely. I have a standing order with GPS Store, who said mine would ship Nov. 20. Now they say December 10. All this is for the titanium pro solar 6x.
It seems there is no waiting list or order priority for getting one.
Well I hope that helps someone thanks! I'm looking for the titanium/titanium pro solar which is the one delayed.
