V4.20, volume control still not working

Jbl reflect flow. I updated to 4.20, paired my headphones and still nothig... Can't control it.

Fenix 6X Pro, 4.20.

  • i was having trouble adjusting the volume of my headphones on my watch on V4.10. There was a volume bar witch didn't move when i would press up or down and the volume stayed the same. I just now updated to 4.20 and i now don't see the sound volume bar but again pressing up or down doesn't do anything. So once again i'm not able to use my headphones with my watch. updated to 4.20, re-paired JBL Endurance Sprint:

I now can fully control volume with the watch, I can raise volume with the HP, but I can’t LOWER volume with HP... pause/play/forward/backwards does work by HP though

I have just contacted Garmin customer support about this JBL reflect flow integration issue. The support team mentioned that they don't monitor forums so I encourage everyone here to contact Garmin support so this particular issue gets bumped up and gets fixed.

Just to reinforce this, any bug reports, complaints, observations posted on the forums are primarily just for other watch owners.   Garmin uses their support system for bug reports and doesn't have dedicated moderators looking through threads on any consistent or regular basis.   I don't necessarily agree with this personally but it is what it is.

The only official email address for bugs seems to be related to only the beta releases of software.   Sending issues to those addresses that is not specifically related to the beta releases just gets a nice response to use the support system.
