Freeze while connect to a phone or PC

Hello!

I've gust bought brand new Garmin Fenix 6 Pro. After updating the firmware to ver. 4.10 and download map updates through Garmin Express watch freezes.

I reloaded it holding POWER button about 10 times, each time the watches loaded maps by itself. When pairing with the phone, they again froze.

I reseted the settings by the algorithm (holding POWER together with START and BACK|LAP buttons) described on support.garmin.

When pairing with a phone after reboot, they frozen again. After a reboot, if you refuse to pair with the phone, they turn on.

However, they freeze anytime when: trying to pair with a phone, trying to turn off the clock, trying to connect the watch to a computer via cable, trying to reboot via watch menu.

Watches cannot be used properly, I can't pair it with a phone or PC.

What to do in this situation?

I have absolutely same problem. All these steps just make my Fenix 6 freeze... Somebody find solution?

Did you get this issue resolved? I'm having mine lockup but under different circumstances, I'm returning to the store tomorrow for an exchange after talking with Garmin support.

Hi! I don't know what exactly helped me, but I'll describe 4 things which I did.

1. I left turned offed watches for a few days at home (was waiting for a response from Garmin support).

2. Before when I was connecting watches to PC they feeze. I tried to connect watch with different cable from other Garmin watches (my gf Garmin 5S) watches didn't freeze and connected to PC normally. I updated software and tried to connect with mobile but watches freeze again.

3. I connected to PC again and open through explorer Garmin watch folder and delete files inside RemoteSW folder as it is described at official Garmin support page here:

4. Also, clear Bluetooth cache on my mobile phone as it is described in video:

my phone is OnePlus 5, I found on the official forum solution how to clear cache better on my phone:

And after all these steps watches normally paired with a phone and as 2 weeks everything is ok.

But I think the main step that helped me is somehow connect to PC and remove files inside RemoteSW folder.

Thanks for the update... I was having a different problem but it kept locking\freezing at various times not only when syncing. Garmin suggested it was defective and I returned for a new one today. So far it seems to be working but I've only been using it for a couple hours. In case I run into a similar issue in the future I wanted to see what others may have done to resolve their problems!

I wanted to return watches by warranty but I bought it in a different county and moved to another after a while and they suggest me to return it in the same shop where I bought watches :D what was a complication for me... I had to find something to fix it by myself.
