Watch stuck on power logo screen

Received the newest update (4.20) and went to install it. Watch stayed on 'Restarting...' for several minutes and nothing happened. Now it's stuck with a power symbol on it, and I can't restart it or do anything to get rid of it.

Backlight still works and notifications are still coming through (and I can reply to emails, texts etc), so I don't know what's going on! Any suggestions?!!

First, turn it off by pressing the light button for 30 secs, then turn it on again.

If that does not solve the problem try to hard reset it with these methods:

If that still does not solve the problem, download the previous beta zip file for your watch from here:
https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-6-series/194351/fenix-6-series---4-11-beta-release

Then extract the zip file, connect the watch to your computer and copy the GUPDATE.GCD file from the System_Backdate_v410 folder to the Garmin folder on your watch to downgrade to 4.10 again.

Hopefully, one of these methods helps, if not, you need to reach out Garmin support.

This isn't totally unusual. I had it once of twice on my F3HR and F5X both. Just hard power it off by holding down the button long enough and back on fixed it each time.
