Body Battery

I recently bought a 6s pro and have noticed that the body battery information  isn’t displaying on my home screen. When I look in health stats under body battery it says no data available. Is there a way I can resolve this or could it be a faulty watch?

  • I got the same watch as you have, i work ok here, except after a workout, then stress is stop registering. I have spoken with the beta team, they aware of the problem. My solution, go in to the stress widget, start a breathing excercise, let it run for about a half minute, stop it and choose not save, after that all is back to normal. Forgot to say, this has been with beta 8.74 and beta 8.76, and the ver. 8.10. I use a external hr strap when i work out.

Same issue here for brand new Fenix 6 sapphire purchased fro Garmin 4 days ago. Love this feature, but it’s not working.

I bought a vivoactive about a week ago and did initial setup with that, but then got the Fenix 6 and decided to stick with that and return the vivoactive.

starting with the vivoactive, Body battery was great first day, started about 40-50, drained a bit throughout the day with light activity, the after 7-8 hours of sleep it charged up to about 80. Next day was similar, drained throughout the day with some activity down to roughly 30. Then, didn’t get a good night sleep And the graph showed a pretty even and alternating mix of recovery (charging) and stress (drain), waking up roughly about the same as when I went to bed, 35. After this experience with the vivoactive, I loved the body battery, as it seemed accurate to my experience. But then my new Fenix 6 sapphire cane in....

Had the fenix 6 sapphire for about 3 days now. And in that time, my body battery has never gotten over 50, and that’s sleeping for 10 hours 2 night in a row, and being mostly inactive for 1.5 of those days. My reading has gotten as low as 3. Three. Then after sleeping good for 10 hours, the graph showed Mostly stress during 80% of my sleep. So I woke up to 15 after ten hours of sleep.

Garmin, what’s up?  Why does this feature work well on a $300 vivoactive, but not worth a darn on the $800 fenix???

I had the same issue after about a week to 2 weeks the body battery caught up to me I'm not active enough so my heart rate is higher than someone in better shape. You could try restarting your phone if your watch updated I have noticed that a recent update has caused issues with the app.

  • This is about the only complaint I have with the 6x Solar. Even with hard restarts, etc my BB drains to 5 and doesn’t improve overnight, over several nights.

I love the BB on my Instinct but not on the 6 series.

  • What do you see in GCM or GC interweb? Mine has pretty much worked without any problems but then I never work hard enough to get down to 5.

  • I have a 6X Pro Solar, running 9.00 Release Candidate (until I can get the 9.00 live update), and BB is working as normal.

  • very weird... what about the stress superposition? Usually, it makes sense to compare both, as on the display of .

From my observation of my own BB  (which usually looks similar to 's) bodybatery discharge for stress higher than 25 and during activities, remains stable between 20 and 25 and charge below 20 (the lower, the fastest is the charge)

I'm in the same boat with my Fenix 6 Sapphire that I've had about a month. It was working fine until the last update. Since last night no sleep data on watch/GC. Also Body Battery figure stuck at 5% since midnight last night and has shown no change since despite a good nights sleep and a restful day today! This was a very expensive watch and my 1st Garmin product so like everyone else I'm disappointed - especially learning that this problem is not a new problem for the Garmin Team!

  • Tried a soft reset (JUst hold the light button down till it switches off) then switch back on
