4.11 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where the stress data field wasn’t working as expected during Yoga and Breathwork activities.
  • Fixed an issue where one wasn’t able to change the music player volume on device.

GPS: 2.50
Sensor Hub: 2.50
ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 3.60
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 2.10
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

    Any news on the fix for the wi-fi connection issue? I take it that 4.11 doesn’t address that?

    Have you sent a bug report to the outdoor.beta email? If not, please do.

    It seems (and according to veterans here), Garmin does not follow forum posts so personally when I have an issue, after I searched solution on the forum, I send a bug report included the forum thread url(s) if there is already any and others are affected as well.

    This way they are at least aware of the problem and if they receive plenty of reports of the issue there might be a quicker fix as oppose to users just discussing their issues here.

    The choppy alttitude problem which inrtoduced with V4.10 exist with also at V4.11 beta. Fenix 6X pro.

    During a trail run activity altitude reading is changing very slowly. I was at a steep climb  and I was watching the altitude reading, and from 410m, froze at that value for 3 to 4 minutes (while I was climbing), and suddenly went to 430m, froze for another 2 minutes, then went to 455m, etc.
    As result the altitude graph is very choppy, and the total elevation gain was wildly underestimated.
    Settings were GPS+GALLILEO, Recording every 1 sec, maps on, Auto cal --> During activity ON, on start ON, Not during activity ON. Start altitude was correct.

    Volume control on watch problem: my fenix 6x fell prey to this with the 4.10 software update, but the 4.11 beta fixed it. I can now fully control volume using EITHER my watch control or on my Aftershokz Aeropex bluetooth headset.

    The Beta SW fixed the 2 issues I was experiencing:

    1) music volume control

    2) my RD Pod not recording data.

    Aftershokz Aeropex: status returned to Pre4.10 update - volume up on the headset doesn't work; volume down works. But at least I can now control the the volume from the watch again.

    Running Dynamics Pod: no joy. I still need to (a) disconnect the pod, (2) restart the watch, and (3) reconnect the pod, before every activity. Otherwise the RD icon just keeps blinking in the activity menu.

    Could you please check in "ABOUT"  from System to see what version you have after updated 4.11. Mine is 4.10 even after updated 4.11 beta, but the volume does not work correctly. Thanks.

    My watch now shows 4.11 in "ABOUT". You might recheck to see that you placed the unzipped beta files in the right folders on the watch and when done click the "Install" that appears when you unplug your watch from your pc. Just a thought.

    I installed 4.11 beta today but since my install breathing rate is not working anymore. Anyone else see this?  Secondly the music app keeps on running like with 4.10,draining the battery
