Fenix 6 with Jabra Elite Active 65t - new Jabra FW

I have a Fenix 6 running 4.1 fw and Jabra Elite Active 65t ear buds. There is a new (late September 2019) fw for the ear buds that makes the connection process work better for me. When you start the run activity on the Fenix 6 it will ask if you want to pair the Jabra buds as a foot pod. I found that every time I did that I lost connection for music so I assume it is one or the other. I therefore deleted the foot pod association and just use them as phones. As I use an HRM-TRI for running metrics I am not really interested in the foot pod.

However, the Jabra fw is a good step forward - no pun intended

You used the Jabra headphones as a foot pod?? It measured cadence?

I actually said that I did not use it. It offered itself for connection, I connected it but discovered that the ear buds could either connect to the Fenix as ear buds OR a foot pod. I then deleted the pairing as a foot pod. Yes the Jabra Elite Active 65t has an accelerometer in to measure steps. I use an HRM-TRI for running metrics.

Hmm, I didn’t know the F6 could recognize the JEA65t as a foot pod. I wonder if used as a foot pod whether it can support running power?

I bought the fenix 6S with the hopes of using music form the device. It does NOT work with Jabra Elite sport headphones. I think I got ripped off. Headphones work fine with my phone.

The foot pod profile doesn't support Garmin Running Power.

I use my F6 daily with a pair of 65t Active. I don't even bother about the volume issue that obviously is critical for a lot of users in the forum. For me the volume controls on the left earbud works fine and is much easier to use than the watch.

On Firmware 5.0 volume control works just fine in both watch and controls on the left earbud .

I use my jabra sport elite, trekz air, jabra 65e with my fenix 6 Titanium without any trouble.
