How to sync. Clock with GPS

Start a GPS activity like walking or running and wait for a GPS lock. It should then be synced.

I have a approx 7 sec. lack with phone and hope a sync with GPS will solve this. ??

I doubt it, as soon as it syncs to the phone it will likely sync time as well. I've seen people comment about this 7 second or whatever it is time error but have never cared enough to notice 

Press down arrow while the time is syncing with GPS (if you are using the sync time control or menu option, not doing a GPS activity) and it will change to sync with phone

Out of curiosity, I just did a time sync via GPS using the menu, and then with phone also using menu. There does appear to be a few seconds lag either way. Not a big deal for me but I can see some people being bothered by it.

Well I am not bothered about a few sec, but the questions is why there should be a lag

Garmin should be able to this right.

Other watchmakers can do it. All the data to do this it is available, I believe

I'm seeing a 7 second lag whether I sync with phone or GPS.  This is not the case with my F5, F5+, or even F3.  WTH?
