Does it work with Pulse Ox enabled ? Or some other setting ? Thank you for any help
No luck, I see overview on My Day Page on Web Garmin Connect, but when I try to open detail on URL, https://connect.garmin.com/modern/respiration/2019-10-16 , I get "Page Not Found" error.
Could you confirm the firmware and sensor hub versions of your watch? If they are too old, the new functions are not available on the GC site.
F6-PRO, FW4.20, SH: 2.50
It will be more likely some issue on Garmin Connect I think..
That should work then.
I would first reinstall Garmin Connect and re-pair the watch. If that does not solve the problem I would do a full factory reset and check if it works after that.
I remember, it worked for me flawlessly when I updated my watch and added the respiration widget. Then, when I downgraded it the respiration tracking menu disappeared from GC which is understandable and expected.
Did completely fresh Garmin Connect instalation in phone, deleted F6 even from web GC, repaired the watch and still nothing - no respiration rate page on GC. :-/ Widget in watch normally works.
Not sure I want to try factory reset of watch because of this..
See the answers I've got via email from Garmin Support center, after an email where I've asked how can it be seen in GC
Initial email:
While checking some YouTube videos about the Fenix 6 I realized there should be a My Day Card for Respiration in the Garmin Connect mobile app!
Also respiration should show up in the Yesterday's statistics card too
Here some pictures where you can see that:
1. Respiration is available under web Garmin Connect https://photos.app.goo.gl/T7zgPahg1psJCcHX8
2. Respiration is not seen on MyDay view on Android Phone https://photos.app.goo.gl/AvnK9QfpCsyF8U6c6
3. Respiration is not an available card in "Edit my Day" view photos.app.goo.gl/RDibTc5W5HQbfQpr6 I use Fenix6 Sapphire, OnePlus 6t phone with Android 9.
Issue is also detailed, by me and other users, on this Garmin forum topic: https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-6-series/196188/fenix-6-sapphire---respiration-my-day-card-not-existing-in-garmin-connect/957651#957651
I have tried deleting data for the app on the phone, uninstalling the app. No result Please check and advise.
Garmin update 1
The respiration feature is new to the Fenix 6 and as such has not been implemented yet to be available on the my day screen for Garmin connect app and is pending implementation in a future update.
Second email:
And then how can you explain the pictures on other owners in the forum topic I've sent? It seems that they have it available. So this is the festure not implemented in all Fenix 6, just in a part of them?!? :))))
Garmin update 2:
Yes, the respiration feature is not 100% available at present. It will be made available to all users as we continue to roll this out. Sorry for any confusion this has caused.
Third email:
And why do I have a widget for this on the watch?
The widget is there ready for when the feature goes live.
Please be patient as this begins to become available for users.
GCM = Garmin Connect MOBILE (not website)
I see it on Garmin iPhone app
It's also available in Garmin Connect (web). My UI is in German, I guess the English words will probably be reports->respiration. E.g. you can add a report to your dashboard and then you select "respiration" from the list.
I got my F6X two days ago, and I did nothing "magic". The respiration is just there (in web as well as GCM "my day").
I see Respiration on the "My Day" page in Garmin Connect Mobile both in today's data and the summary for Yesterday:
It's been available for some time.
HTH
Theory about not 100% feature rollout seems to be a little suspicious, when ~ >90% users got this immediately after F6 was paired (even 2 months ago) and rest not...
Even more strange is, that on Garmin Connect Web, I HAVE Breathing box.
When I click to show details on bottom-right corner, Garmin Connect shows me 404 error.... But when I click to graph icon on top-right corner, I will get daily average graph.
Adicionality when I go to Reports > Breathwork > Average Respiration Rate the graphs there are empty.
So it is like GC in my case gets some average values but not all-day data.
