I think not. It worked perfectly with my Forerunner 945 before.
I just called Garmin support in The Netherlands. Apparently, the latest update blocks syncing music from online services. The only way of listening to music is to copy MP3 files to the device from a computer. Garmin is working on a fix but the exact reason of this bug has not been found yet. A fix is expected to be available in 2-3 weeks from now. The problem occurs with 4.10 and also with 4.11 beta.
I'm not sure that response from Garmin makes any sense. I've been syncing my Spotify and Amazon Music playlists with wifi without any problem at all and my 6S is on 4.10.

Wow, I feel like a dumb, but restarting worked for me as well. I think Garmin should make it more clear that after installing the Spotify app, a restart appears to be mandatory for sync to work.
My fenix sapphire starts to download and then fails. Have tried everything! Chat support had me download Garmin Express but that only wants to upload my i-tunes which I haven't used in forever. They said it's my wifi which is 1 GBps, have all other devices turned off, reset router, Uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Connect app, and wifi from all devices, rebooted everything. Main reason I bought the watch, and I am going on a ski vacation with no music on it. VERY disappointed!
