Estimated Sweat Loss

Estimated sweat loss is now showing in exercise once synced with the connect mobile app. Doesn’t look right however. It shows 204ml for a 20 minute walk at around 18 degrees Celsius. Although this seems incorrect it’s good to see it being reflected in the hydration goal in the connect mobile app.

Also quite interested to see how the nutrition and hydration during the workout can be recorded.

  • Looks like you can add calories and hydration taken during activity by editing the exercise after within the connect mobile app.

    Anyone got numbers to confirm the estimated sweat loss above is in the right ballpark?

  • I just saw that number after going on a 90 minute mountain bike ride.   The sweat calculation reported a loss of 1431 ml of water.  I weighed myself before and after the ride and ended up loosing 3.5 pounds which is about 1650 mil.   I drank about 16 oz or 430 ml on the ride. So a manual calculation would put the water loss at about 2100 ml vs. calculated at 1431.
