TopoActive maps for other regions?

The Fenix 6X Saphire watch that I have came with TopoActive maps for Europe pre-installed .

But are now planning a trip to Australia and will do some activities there, how do I get the TopoActive maps for that region onto my watch?

You don't need to buy use the link and download the maps you need, copy them to your Garmin folder on your watch for free.

Garmin also uses the Open Street…

As far as I know, you can’t purchase them as an additional map, yet. They are only preinstalled on Garmin devices sold in Australia/New Zealand. The preinstalled version is unlocked only for the used device.

So it is only the maps where the watch is purchased that is included? If you want to use it in another region you have to purchase them separately?

You can buy Garmin maps, or serching for openstreetmaps. There you have to look, if these are routeable.
