Please someone say they found a fix. I’ve tried everything. I had no problems with my 6x pro till after this 4.10 update. I’ve reset the watch and my AirPods. No go.

Stopped working for me too after the update
Think I will wait for the update to fix this update. Sorry to hear about people going through this.
There's no volume control with either of my headphones now! I've just tried my Aftershokz Aeropex and my Samsung Galaxy Buds. I was able to turn the volume down with the watch but now I can't turn…
Brand | Model |
Aftershokz | Trekz Air |
Beats | PowerBeats 3 Wireless |
Bose | SoundSport |
IFROGZ | plugz wireless |
Jaybird | Tarah Pro |
JBL | Reflect Mini BT |
Plantronics | BackBeat FIT 3100 |
Skullcandy | Method Wireless |
Sony | MDR-XB50BS Extra BassTM |
Seems to be the current list from Garmin that I could find.
I just bought a Fenix 6, good thing I read this forum, I have now disabled automatic updates, I dodged the 4.10 bullet
Let's see how long this fix will take...I may send my Fenix back for a refund if this lingers.
This volume problem is the Garmin latest firmware update issue, not a headphone. The problem is the user cannot manually increase or decrease the volume from the watch. We need to wait for the next Garmin firmware to fix this. I am sure someone in this forum had contacted Garmin support, and they already know the issue. I think we don't need to reset the watch or headphones. You temporary to enjoy your music via your smartphone instead. The list of headphones above has recommended from Garmin. You could buy any brands you want. I use Sennheiser Momentum, and it easy to pair with my F6s.
I did the same thing but the update went through anyways. Just took over a day to push through.

Yep, in the drawer it goes. With the current issues, the watch is dead weight for me. AW5 it is. Cannot believe there hasn't already been a fix, or files put up to downgrade to the stock firmware/software. I had no problems with the watch when I got it.
Yes fully aware of that. Actually the volume controls on my earbuds work. Just glad they are aware of the issue.
Year 2023 Garmin Descent MK2 with AirPods and still the same issue, this is incredible
