Maps from other region

You can download maps from all regions in the world, as you already did. I favor talkytoaster maps, but all openstreet map are fine, or buying from Garmin. To activate, after transferring to watch, be sure to select general settings menu > settings for desired activity/app,  > map, > configure, click green slider next to downloaded map. In the talkytoaster site, it is quite elaborately explained what is covered. Does this help? 

The “coverage of ...” are only golf maps.

I like the open street maps as you can just download the bits you need.  It is fairly unlikely i'm going to end up far outside the major cities, so I usually just download those.  For example, I have Oslo and Bergen as my NO map, but have left out the rest of the country to save space.

ok, I suppose that makes sense - but it would be better if they indicated that those are golf maps to avoid confusion.

So I can just get rid of those, no point spending time updating them. 

Is there any good source for (free) routable open street maps? I am interested in Western Africa....
