Audible or other Audiobook - Any way to listen on 6 series?

Anyone know of a way to listen to Audible on the Garmin Fenix 6X Pro or similar models?

  • Feature request please Garmin...please add Audible to your main apps!

Totally agree with others here - Audible should be a partner app for Garmin.

Yes!  Please add an Audible App for Garmin.  Using the workarounds suggested above don't save the start stop location in your book, so if you resume in your car after your run, you have no idea where you were in the book.  Please help!

The only reason why I haven't bought a Fenix watch yet is the lack of the Audible app. Waiting for it for years. I thought the 6 serious would have it but nothing is happening.

I don't understand why Garmin doesn't see this as a huge advantage to their platform. Currently, only the Apple Watch has the feature and I'm seriously considering getting one just because I can listen to my audiobooks while taking a walk or training without bringing my phone with me.

  • f6 doesn't make calls, so doesn't that mean you have your cell on you or somewhere near by? Unless you're swimming pool, even open water i have my cell with me (floating boyee). Rather connect to cell via Bluetooth then kill the watch batt. Plus easier to change songs, or chapters, etc via heatset. All watch verbiage you will hear via gc anyway (lap stuff, hr, etc)

    Thoughts?

  • No. I never carry my phone while running. Its the reason I got a watch with music and bluetooth on it

Exactly. I don't always want to have my phone on me while taking a run or a walk. I also want to leave my phone in the gym locker while still having access to my audiobooks during the workouts.

I'm also waiting for the Audible in my fenix watch!!! hope it comes

  • We'd probably be better off requesting this on an Audible forum or feedback/support. My understanding is that Garmin is willing to support any audio service, they just need permission and access to their APIs.
