Very sympathic - this is how we like the frenchies: English speaking forum and you reply in French - wtf
@9391586 sure it is ugly but if I have the chance to protect my 1k$ watch when mountain biking…
I can tell you one thing is for sure--for most folks these covers will cause more damage to the surface of the device then leaving them off. All trapped debris will rub around on the finish and cause abrasion…
..
That is an abomination.
Indeed, it would be strange for carbon fibre to "shatter", since that's not something carbon fibre does unless you blow it up with dynamite. In fact, the whole point of using carbon fiber for stuff is that it doesn't shatter.
I think these ones may look better https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000158417413.html
It's for the 5X so not sure of will fit the 6X but no doubt they'll make them for the 6 Series

Strange that they don't show a photo of one actually installed on a watch...
I did a search for "TPU case For Garmin fenix 5X"
and found some that do show them fitted.
For example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000207598223.html
Just scroll down.
I also found these type as well: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000223780210.html
Wrong. For sure. Had it at my 5x over a year. Looks like new device
Do you really think a double-sided flexible 3M tape does leave micro scratches? Sold my 5x for a bestprice, due to had it protected.
No. You're right. I didn't ever imagine that there would be covers that had to be double sided taped to your watch. I guess if you use your watch in a machine shop or you wear it as a bricklayer you might need that protection. It looks like a new and attractive watch now that you are going to sell it. Good job.
Really ugly...I have the Titanium 6 Pro and I scratched it in the first five days...was really angry and disappointed of a 899$ watch scratched so easily. But it is a sport watch and if you are doing sports it will have "battle wounds" here and there :) I will never dare to put such a thing on a nice looking watch like the F6.
carbon bezel protector
You bought the Titanium version, which can easily be scratched. You should've got the Sapphire version, which has DLC coating on the bezel, that's more resistant to scratches.
Does anyone know if there is a retailer in the US who sells the carbon protector for the 6X? As shown earlier in the thread by bikespot.es ?
- We do not recommend using the covers. Which is why we do not sell them or offer them ourselves in the box with our Outdoor watches. If you choose to add one, please be aware of what the Support Center article goes over.
