6X Pro missing Strava Live segments

Hi,

So I've just upgraded from a 5X to a 6X Pro Sapphire. I've gone into my Training > Strava Segments to find that there are no segments in there. On the 5X the segments are showing. How do I go about getting the segments on the 6X? Obviously everything is set up in both Connect and Strava otherwise I wouldn't be able to see and use them on the 5X.

Any help in getting this working would be appreciated!

Woah, I didn't do anything and now it's showing. Perhaps there was some behind-the-scenes issue that's been sorted.

I would love to help.. but cannot other than say.. I have the same Strava Live segments showing in my 6x pro as were on my 5plus. Doesn't help, but at least gives you hope that the feature works once you find the right settings

I cannot get Strava segments on my 6 Pro. Have tried everything I can think of. I'm using Strava segments not Garmin segments in the Connect app. Have removed starred segments from Strava and reapplied them. Have synced via the Connect IOS app and via Garmin Express. The segments are showing on the Garmin Connect dashboard but they won't transfer over to the watch. When I select an activity - run - and then go into the options - segments - it just has the message 'No running segments saved'. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers, I'm sure it's a software thing... tried the usual switching off and back on again, but no good. Sure it'll be worked out eventually.

I have the Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire and have zero segments. Same as you I've un-starred them in Strava, turned them on/off in Garmin Connect and nothing gets the segments onto the watch... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very frustrating considering it's a $800 watch.

same here.....5X+ segments already in Connect were imported in 6X as well.

let me try add a new one.....

hmmm... I cannot add a new one.... milkywaye...can you?

seems that sync between Strava - (Mobile Connect) - 6X does not work....

with Garmin segments works like a charm.

syncs in seconds, shows them.

segments previously in 5X+ were sync in 6X

somehow Connect "know" about them.

I do not have the 5X defined anymore to try the following:

5X and 6X both devices in connect mobile.

- define a new Strava segment as starred

- sync both

- is 5X updated?

- how about 6X?

I don't have the Fenix 6 but I'm having the same issue with my Fenix 5 Plus, and it started a few days ago when I did a factory reset. Previously I could see a submenu on my watch that said "Strava Live Segments". I now only see "segments" under training and when I click there's a message saying "no running segments saved". If I flip back to the Garmin segments with Connect, it will show a saved segment, so this is definitely something to do with Strava.

I was in touch with Garmin yesterday and they did see the Strava segments queue up in my sync and then disappear when sync was done, which suggests they did indeed sync. But they're not showing up and the menu name hasn't changed. Using the Garmin Express with the USB cord makes no difference.

Does anyone who lost the Strava Live Segments actually see that wording in the submenu on the watch under training, or is it just "segments"?

For me, the strava Segments are working , and I still have the Strava live segments subsection in the training menu.

I remember noticing them syncing all of a sudden. I think maybe round about the time i was fiddeling with the old garmin training centre (which didnt recognise the 6x, as opposed to the 5x), or maybe after starring a new favorite segment but didn't give ut much notice, since i was trying tbt navi at the time. Probably coincidence.

F6x pro.

it is "Segments" if you set Garmin segments.
