Updated, found the problem: Navigation courses reboots device. Climb Pro + Graph HR

Hi,

After several tests I have discovered that the navigation courses restart the device if the Climb Pro is activated. Only tested with hiking activity.

It restarts the devices if you navigate between screens with the course loaded even before starting the activity.

I have tested garmin connect and wikiloc courses and they always restart the device if the Climb Pro is activated.

Please Garmin, solve the problem.

Tested: Is only in hiking activity with Climb Pro activated.

I have the same problem, did not know it was Climb Pro at fault, thanks!

Hope Garmin fixes this, after they take care of the Sensor Hub issue.

Tested: The problem is the Graph HR in Climb Pro settings!!!!!

Reset Hiking to factory settings and don't more reboots. Change the Climb Pro settings with Graph HR and reboots the device again.

Tested: Restart the device in any activity with Climb Pro with Grap HR in settings of the Climb Pro.

Thanks for sharing this info. Having the same issue where Fenix6 sometimes reboots during activity when following a course, climbpro enabled, and switching screens.

Wondering if any work around exists, other than not using climb pro.

Garmin ... any suggestions?

I havent seen this happen with the trail run or run activity (the two I use courses for). So I wonder if this is fixed for 10.00 onwards, although to be fair I use courses from FIT files. This week I'll test a GC loaded course.

I had this happen as well flipping between pages of navigation/climbpro in a hiking activity. The crash/reboot completely reset my Training Effect and Load for the activity after ~10 hours of recording. I was able to resume the activity without losing the GPS/HR information, but TE and load started from zero.

I was just told by product support they know nothing about this problem, I was talking about availability before I upgrade to the 6 series, I asked about this bug, and was told no one has reported it to product support Uk?...
