Is it possible to reverse a route on the device or on the Garmin Connect mobile app?

This would be really useful if you go running/exploring somewhere new and then want to follow the same route back.

Is this possible?

You can do back to start which will take you back to the start where you were at. I have not tried it on the F6X but on my edge 530 it gives you an option to follow the same way back or the shortest distance…

I have not tried it on the F6X but on my edge 530 it gives you an option to follow the same way back or the shortest distance. obviously if you are out in the wilderness the shortest distance probably is not what you want.

A bit of further googling calls this trackback! Sounds perfect.

I'm not planning to go to complete wilderness, but running through farmers fields at night in the dark in the English countryside.

When you pause the activity, select "Back to Start" from the pause menu. Then it will give you the option to select "TracBack" or "Route". I'm not sure what the difference is, I've only tried TracBack (which worked well).

I *think* the difference is that TracBack retraces your steps, while Route finds the shortest way back to the start (which may not necessarily be the same way you took to get there)
