Garmin.com shipping delay

First time ordering on garmin.com - a DLC Sapphire F6 a week ago, at which point “Processing Time” was 1-3 days. It still hasn’t shipped and now the product page shows 1-2 weeks. Have others had similar issues?

    la mia esperienza è questa: ho ordinato il 4 ottobre con tempi di elaborazione previsti 1-2 settimane. Ho aspettato e dopo 2 settimane li chiamo e mi dicono che si sono esauriti e che la spedizione pianificata per il mio ordine sarebbe stata il 18 novembre. Nei negozi fisici era disponibile ma avrei perso lo sconto che ho con Garmin. Poi all'improvviso l'email di spedizione è arrivata con la consegna prevista per il 5 novembre. Il servizio clienti è stato molto gentile e disponibile, ma non ha informazioni precise sulla gestione del magazzino. Spero che i ritardi siano dovuti alla disposizione di alcuni difetti nei primi lotti di produzione. Comunque, ho la sensazione che Garmin dia la priorità alla fornitura di negozi fisici. (È una scelta commerciale che può essere gratificante nel loro settore ma crea confusione in coloro che effettuano l'acquisto dal sito)

  • I Have ordered a Garmin Fenix 6x Pro Solar in August when it was available to order, now they have zero stock and cant say when it will be available nearly 3 months.

    I have called and complained and they just keep saying "stock delays" may next week, maybe next month.  Come on Garmin stop treating your customers with such contempt.  have a bit of integrity and explain what the issues are...  such a disrespectful way to treat customers!!

  • Maybe they have to rebuild all F6 models from scratch with new hardware. That could be an explanation ;}))))))

    Garmin AU - Shipping delays keep on getting extended dates.

    The worst so far is the Solar model, was 1-2 weeks, then months and so on.

    Now on their website it says you order by the 13th of December for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.

    But it says 5-8 weeks processing time for the watch, which is after the 13th.

    I rang Garmin support and their response is, the grantee is if only it's in stock.

    Seriously that is ridiculous and false statement if that is the case!..

    I had an issue with this, but it was because they were combining orders together. I order the fenix 6 titanium and a HRM-run, but the HRM was delayed. So they held my order until it was going to be ready. You need to call garmin to have them ship it.

    I ordered a Fenix 6x sapphire 31 october from a dealer in UK that did not have any in stock, so I get a newer one from newer stock. It stood 5-7 Days for delivery and it still say 5-7 Days today 15 november. I got an e-mail from them when asking ". Garmin are experiencing some manufacturing delays" They also say "We are expecting the Garmin 6X to come into stock late November, early December" I can wait, why dont the change the 5-7 days delivery like 5-8 weeks? I have the Fenix 5X and might get a Fenix 6x with better hardware?? from a newer stock. Garmin UK say 1-2 weeks,Garmin Ireland say 5-8 weeks. So there are some problems. Now I checked Garmin US 5-8 weeks delivery what is happening? https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/641435/pn/010-02157-10. Is there a better sony chip that gives better GPS, is there better displayes no more blue?, problems with saphire glas? I have already paid for the watch in UK at 5-7 days in delivery, it was cheaper than in Sweden that has a alot of 6x sapphire in stock at almost the same price now, but from older stock. Difficult, should I cancel my order if it is possible from UK and Buy from Sweden that have the old stock or wait for the new stock to arrive to UK and maybe get a watch with maybe better hardware, I think so, but awful wait!

  • Preordered my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar Titanium about 1.5 months ago at the local supplier here in South Africa. Still no watch and the latest info I have says they will only get it at the end of the month.
    Rather disappointing. Come on Garmin, get a handle on this thing...

  • Can someone update, what's going on with the delays? Is it manufacturing related or something else?

    In EU availability of Fenix 6x Sapphire seems quite limited. Dealer in my home country and some other larger websites from where I have usually ordered show January 2020 as delivery date. Few weeks ago it was end of November, but now it's January 2020.

    I cancelled my order for a week ago, but my money was refunded after about 5 days and I didnt have so much cash so I missed a black friday offering for about 7200 swedish kronor for a fenix 6X sapphire. Its always nice o have a new watch but do I need it? probably not :) I already have the 5X sapphire that I like very much but it would be rather nice with bigger screen and body battery. I do wonder if the GPS and HR are better or worse? Garmin UK and Garmin Germany showed for a long time 1-2 weeks for the 6x sapphire, but a week ago the booth changed to 2-3 weeks and now it is back to 1-2 weeks. The Fenix 6 does not offer so much over my fenix 5x so I might wait for the next model, I dont care for music or Garmin pay but I like more health metrics that I can trust.
