Does fenix 6 pro black (non-sapphire) has DLC bezel coating?

ŌDoes fenix 6 pro black (non-sapphire) has DLC bezel coating? In spec bezel material is «stainless steel or Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coated steel», is stainless steel a silver bezel of younger model or black model sapphire and non has different coating?

I believe the non-sapphire version does not have the DLC coating like the gray sapphire version. It's just regular finish like the older Fenix 5

Dave is correct, the Pro model without Sapphire isn't available in DLC. As far as I know, the only non-sapphire Fenix model available with DLC is the "carbon gray" 6x Solar model.

I think the non-sapphire version does have the DLC.

I have the non-sapphire version. My bezel has taken two knocks that would have certainly made marks on my Fenix 3HR and Fenix 5X, but there’s not a single mark on my 6x Pro.

The spec says either stainless steel or DLC. I suspect the silver bezel is stainless steel while the black one is DLC.

There’s a thread on here where several people report the new black bezels to be more scratch resistant than the old bezels.

I’ve yet to see anything that suggests the bezel isn’t DLC.

The spec of the 6X pro shows DLC with gorilla glass.

Admittedly it also mentions touch screen, but I suspect a typo.

Based on my experience of the black surround on this model I’d suggest it’s DLC.

The non-sapphire has a PVD coating which is premium and quite durable. DLC is very similar to PVD but slightly more durable. Both are top notch!
