Garmin Fenix 6Pro + Airpods 2 + Spotify [dropouts]

I get dropouts with my Fenix 6Pro and the Airpods 2 while using Spotify.

I tried already the following:

reconnect Airpods 2
add another/new playlist
check for software updates/ got latest update installed
watch on different wrist
inside / outside same problem
Firmware Airpods, latest version. (2A364).
HUB version: 2.40
BT: 3.60

Make sure airpods firmware is updated (happens automatically when connected to iPhone). Had similar issue with my 945 after updating Airpod firmware, my connection was much better.

Have not tried connecting my AirPods yet (wireless charging ones) but I have used the Tarah Pro's and the Jaybird Vista's. Was presently surprised by the new Sony chip that Garmin is using and had no dropouts or crossbody fading, Apple does use its own bluetooth protocols so could be compatibility issues. I seem to recall that other users have had issues with AirPods with Garmin devices. Do not have access to them now but will try this weekend.

I do not use Spotify, But, with my Airpods 2, Scosche Rhythm+, Runscribe Footpods, Garmin Running Dynamics Pod and Music playing, I rarely get a cut out and the sound quality is great.

I'm 6'1" and wear on my left wrist.

Unfortunately not the firmware, running latest version. (2A364).

Still having the same problems, maybe the new HUB update will help? Now on version 2.40 and BT:3.60

Same issue while jogging. AirPods cut out and sometime music stops. If I wait 10 seconds or so then click pause and start on the watch music starts again. Seems to happen more often in when more people around. Seems to have gotten worse lately.
