Why Fenix 6 did not record heart rate in pool swim? The LED was on but no data was recorded.

Brought a new Fenix 6 due to its claim of OHR function in swim. Made sure it was engaged and tried the 1st pool swim today. To my surprise, no heart rate data was recorded. All swim data was normal as that in Fenix 5. In another word, although I noticed the heart rate LED was on in the Fenix 6 and was off in the Fenix 5, the recorded data was same. What went wrong?

Two things. First, make sure it’s updated to software version 3.00; the version of software on the watch from the factory did not have swim WHR. Second, go to the Sensors & Accessories menu and then go…

Two things. First, make sure it’s updated to software version 3.00; the version of software on the watch from the factory did not have swim WHR. Second, go to the Sensors & Accessories menu and then go to the Wrist Heart Rate settings and then turn On the While Swimming option.

To need to create customized power plan which enable WHR in setting and apply it in Swimming power plan. Mine has worked and it is still 2.4

After restore to default in pool swim, the heart rate detection went from number to empty right after I pressed start. Also, 'Drill log' appeared the final page for me to start the swim and stop swim then choose the distance I did which was very strange and different from a couple weeks ago. Any thought?

Sensors and Accessories> Wrist Heart Rate> While Swimming = On.
